Founded by Roland Meinl in 1951 and originally producing only wind instruments, the first MEINL cymbals appeared in 1952 and were cut from large sheets of metal, hammered, polished, and drilled by hand by Roland Meinl himself, which he then personally transported on his bicycle to the train station for shipment. MEINL has since grown from its humble beginnings to become a world leader in percussion instruments. MEINL BCS cymbals are designed for beginners and student musicians using sturdy aluminum that maintains its tone while also withstanding the impact of drumsticks. These cymbals are recommended for all styles of music played by beginning players as they explore their own sound. This BCS package includes a 14" Hit Hat, a 16" crash, and an 18" crash/ride.
