The APSE's OM body is the perfect size for solo fingerstyle players. Its frequency response is more even and balanced across the strings, and the high strings have a unique tone not found on larger guitars. Furthermore, this instrument is easier to combine in groups or duets.

This omnidirectional soundboard replicates the natural vibrations of a solid piece of wood, mimicking the wood top, resulting in a more natural low-frequency response without disrupting the balance of the mids and highs. This makes it incredibly easy to mic the guitar for live performance or in the recording studio, as the EQ doesn't add "boom" or "mud" or boost the highs.

The all-carbon body construction, OM body shape, and 12-fret neck work together with the unidirectional top to deliver spectacular clarity. The guitar also features Gotoh SGV510Z tuners, an LR Baggs Stage Pro Anthem system, and comes in a standard jet black finish with a satin finish. The APSE is lightweight and relatively small, and can be stored in the overhead compartment on airplanes.
