Joining the Builder's Edition line of master-crafted guitars, the 652ce is a 12-string aimed at a new generation of acoustic guitarists. Crafted with figured Big Leaf maple back and sides with a torrefied Sitka spruce top, this model's rich , octave-like tone is delivered by the maple's clarity and focus, offering an expressive, recordable sound that will inspire players looking to expand their sonic palette. V-Class bracing provides unique enhancements to this 12-string configuration, adding texture and tonal bloom to the notes as they are played and enhancing sustain and power, while the guitar gains additional power from the reversed string orientation.

Placing the critical strings at the top of each pair adds warmth and body to our new double stringing system, resulting in clearer intonation with each string crossing the saddle at the same point. A special toasting process gives the torrefied spruce top a richer tone and more beautiful response, and the 12-string setup brings the bridge closer to the center of the lower bout for a stronger midrange presence and a smoother feel for your fretting hands.

The 652ce is designed to deliver a playing experience that matches its beautiful tone, with chamfered body and fretboard edges, a smooth Curve Wing bridge, and a beveled armrest and cutaway that bring the player closer to the instrument. Like many Builder's Edition models, this 12-string features an edgeburst-hued Silent Satin sheen that reduces incidental noise for clearer recordings, as well as Scepter inlays in shell and mother-of-pearl for eye-catching visual character. It also comes with ES2 electronics in a deluxe Taylor hardshell case.
