This is a 2016 reissue vinyl LP pressing of David Bowie's self-titled. The English musician originally released his second studio album on November 14, 1969, via Mercury Records. Produced by Gus Dudgeon and Tony Visconti, the album (commonly known as Space Oddity) was recorded from June to October 1969 at Trident Studios in London. It featured an array of collaborators, including Herbie Flowers, Rick Wakeman, Terry Cox and the band Junior's Eyes. "Space Oddity", a tale about a fictional astronaut, was released as a single in July 1969 and became Bowie's first commercial hit, reaching the UK top five.
