About This Product
Born out of two years of research to find the right sound for Steve Vai's guitars, DiMarzio's Evolution bridge pickup is designed for maximum impact and power. It is tight, aggressive and loud! With DiMarzio's patented dual-resonance configuration to reproduce more harmonic overtones, it is not for the timid, but if you've got the chops and a hot amp your sound will soar. Evolution pickups were originally designed for live situations, to push your amp to its full potential, but their presence and definition make them great in recording applications too.
