In 2018, Fender's Parallel Universe Collection combined their best guitar and bass designs to create surprising new instruments. These include the Strat-Tele Hybrid, the Whiteguard Strat, and the '51 Telecaster PJ Bass, to name a few. Continuing this concept, Fender now presents the Alternate Reality Series.

Launched at NAMM 2019, this latest, limited-edition model incorporates several Fender design elements into one instrument. Classic Fender tone is matched with the Sixty-Six's classic visuals, making it a radical statement in its small, ash body, inspired by the offset-waist Jazz Bass. The A-HSS pickup configuration, with a Player Series humbucker in the bridge position, complemented by a pair of twangy Player Series Tele single-coils in the middle and neck positions, provides tonal flexibility to your liking, while a vintage-style 6-saddle synchronized tremolo bridge adds expressive capability. This guitar is sure to turn heads.
