In 2018, Fender's Parallel Universe Collection combined their renowned guitar designs and bass models to create new instruments that shook the world. Examples include the Strat-Tele Hybrid, Whiteguard Strat, and '51 Telecaster PJ Bass. Following that concept, Fender now introduces the Alternate Reality Series.

Launched at NAMM 2019, this latest limited-edition model combines numerous Fender design elements into one instrument. Classic Fender tone meets classic visuals in the Sixty-Six, which stands out in its reduced size from an offset-waist Jazz Bass-inspired ash body. The HSS pickup configuration, with a Player Series humbucker in the bridge, complemented by a pair of twangy Player Series Tele single-coils in the middle and neck, delivers all the tonal flexibility you could ask for, while a vintage-style 6-saddle synchronized tremolo bridge adds to the expressiveness. This guitar is sure to turn heads and ears.
