The JSM20 is Ibanez’s 2018 hollow body masterpiece, designed in collaboration with jazz-rock legend John Scofield. Originally crafted in China, this signature model quickly found a new home in Indonesia later that year—where its smooth, soulful tones continue to turn heads.
The JSM20 boasts a sleek, double cutaway semi-hollow body made from laminated maple, complete with elegant ƒ holes and multi-layer binding on the sides and back. Its set-in sapele neck features a 22-fret ebony fingerboard, adorned with aged white acrylic and abalone split block inlays. Equipped with dual Ibanez Super 58 humbuckers (with gold covers), the guitar offers separate volume and tone controls, along with a tri-sound switch for the neck pickup. A Tune-o-matic style bridge with a Quik Change III tailpiece, a bone nut, and a black pickguard complete this beauty.
