Ibanez unveiled the RG7420EX in 2024, a powerful seven-string addition to the RG series, meticulously crafted in Indonesia as part of the esteemed Standard line. The RG7420EX features a Meranti body bolted to a maple Wizard II-7 neck with a 24-fret jatoba fingerboard with white dot inlays and black side dots position markers. Components include dual Quantum 7 humbucking pickups, an Edge-Zero II-7 tremolo bridge, a locking nut, die-cast machine heads and black hardware.
