And of course - they look great too! The X Series Dinky Arch Top DKAF8 is a high-performance evolution of the electric guitar. The multi-scale design, with characteristic staggered bridge and fanned frets, unlocks previously unexplored possibilities of the guitar by combining two scale lengths on one fingerboard, improving overall playing comfort, string tension and intonation. The DKAF8 is an 8-string model with a 26"-28" multi-scale length mahogany body with an arched top, and one-piece bolt-on maple neck with graphite reinforcement and scarf joint. The 12"-16" compound radius fingerboard has 24 jumbo fanned frets and offset dot inlays. A pair of Jackson uncovered 8-string blade humbucking pickups provide the power and the Jackson designed individual bridge saddles are staggered to accommodate for the two scale lengths, thereby improving intonation.
