The Seymour Duncan Jimi Hendrix™ Signature Strat pickups are designed to capture the spirit and tonal character of Jimi’s iconic sound while preserving vintage-correct authenticity. Each pickup is custom wound for rich, musical response, with an aggressive, cutting bridge tone for expressive leads and a full, warm neck and middle voicing ideal for chords, blues phrasing, and Hendrix-style chord-melody work. The set also delivers the classic Strat “quack” in the in-between positions, with a reverse magnet stagger that recreates the unique tonal effect of Jimi’s left-handed playing setup. Staying true to the original 1968 specifications, the middle pickup is not RWRP, maintaining historical accuracy and traditional Strat behavior.
