TAMA began manufacturing drums in 1965 under the name "Star Drums", and Star continues to be used in the names of TAMA's drum models to this day. TAMA was one of the first manufacturers to offer super heavy-duty hardware, and drum mounting systems that did not intrude into the shell. TAMA sticks and mallets are also widely revered as among the best in the world. Part of their Design series, TAMA’s Rhythmic Fire drumsticks are crafted from Japanese Oak and come in natural finish or can feature an original TAMA tribal graphic design. They come in three tip styles and you can choose either a Black/Silver graphic or Black/Red. Like all TAMA sticks, they are made under strict quality controls from carefully selected woods.
