A hand-selected Sitka spruce top with Bearclaw figuring is paired with solid Indian rosewood back and sides in a cutaway Grand Auditorium body, serving up rich sparkle and lush overtones that complement its clear trebles and warm lows. Tone-enhancing V-Class bracing increases volume, lengthens sustain and improves intonation. A slim-profile Taylor neck delivers a hand-friendly fretting experience while a radiused Indian rosewood armrest takes the edge off your strumming arm. The body and neck are artfully hand-sprayed with a charcoal edgeburst, which is accentuated by a highly-variegated fretboard marked by contrasting streaks of light and dark ebony. Mother-of-pearl fingerboard inlays showcase the design of Taylor's 800 Series between 2004 and 2013. Additional special-edition appointments include a single-ring green abalone rosette with Indian rosewood/maple/black purfling, Hard Rock maple body and soundhole binding, ebony fretboard and peghead binding, an Indian rosewood pickguard, and ebony bridge pins with green abalone dots.
